Peergrowth is hiring a Software Engineer Infrastructure on behalf of one of our clients in the technology and data space. This role is ideal for a self-driven engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing the needs of multiple development teams and systems. You’ll work closely with data science, analytics, and engineering teams to improve Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC), observability, incident response processes, CI/CD pipelines, scalable AWS environments, and Kubernetes deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, automation, and data teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Design modular, efficient Git-Ops CI/CD pipelines independent of the underlying platform.
• Manage AWS services for multiple teams, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Oversee custom data store deployments such as sharded MongoDB clusters and Elasticsearch.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes resources, including application workloads and supporting services.
• Build and maintain observability stacks metrics exporters, dashboards, tracing tools, and alerting systems.
• Establish and manage incident response services with well-designed processes.
• Deploy and manage platform services like OPA and Key-cloak for Identity & Access Management.
• Advocate best practices for AWS infrastructure, IAC, Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability dashboards.

Requirement

• Hands-on experience with Docker or other container runtimes, plus Linux administration.
• Familiarity with web servers (nginx, Apache) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Scripting and automation expertise in Python or Bash, with strong debugging skills for Linux and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and using monitoring/alerting systems (Grafana, Prometheus, exporters).
• Solid understanding of web architecture, distributed systems, and potential single points of failure.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals: SSH, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, load balancing, reverse proxies, and firewalls.

Good to Have:

• Experience with backend development, database setup, and performance tuning.
• Kubernetes cluster administration and deployment experience.
• Exposure to security operations, Envoy, Istio/service mesh, and SRE concepts such as distributed tracing.
• Experience with Open-Telemetry, central logging, and monitoring systems.
