Commercial Manager

Are you a driven professional with strong expertise in the insurance sector? We are hiring a Commercial Manager for our client, an established insurance brokerage firm. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, business development acumen, and deep industry knowledge to lead commercial operations and drive sustainable growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage commercial activities, ensuring business objectives are met in line with company goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the insurance brokerage portfolio, including corporate, SME, and individual clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, underwriters, and clients to secure competitive terms and tailored solutions.
  • Oversee client acquisition, renewals, and retention strategies, ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver innovative insurance products and packages.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to adapt business strategies.
  • Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support senior management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

What Were Looking For:

  • ️Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial or business development role within an insurance brokerage firm.
  • Strong knowledge of general insurance products, policies, and underwriting processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and expanding client portfolios.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and client management skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in preparing forecasts and budgets.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced environment.
